How we started.

Its being a very long journey of 8 yrs now. I started in 2014 when I went to my last vaccination to Dhanaulti. When I am coming back it was the time of rainy season. I saw a very small puppy just of 15 days was sitting at the corner of road. It was the time of midnight. Pup was shivering due to cold. Because it was water every where. I came back to home. But mind was thinking about the pup. My mom asks me what happened?
 I told her that near to our home a puppy was shivering and I think that pup was sick. Then mom told me ” Go and take them to home”. I went in the midnight with my sister, water logging every where. We take the puppy to our home. 
Puppy was in condition of dying. I first Google the nearest vet of my location. Take the pup for the treatment. Then next morning I go the the place find 3 more siblings of the puppy. I started giving them food. Then find new dogs stared feeding with 10 dogs now in 8 yrs I feed more then 260 dogs daily. I even don’t know how many suffering life’s on streets I saved.

For animals in critical condition, they are treated at our clinic and heal at our recovery center. Car accidents, wire traps, and skin diseases are the main issues we see daily.

Street Animal Feeding

We feed street dogs in need and support local street animal feeders. The program helps eliminate the human/street dog conflict and allows for easier catching, and monitoring animal health.

Animal Birth Control/Anti-Rabies

Street Star has implemented a humane and effective program for creating a healthy sustained population of stray dogs which directly impacts community health.

Facilities we provide in our dog shelter

  • Health treatment in month end and lots more.

Frequently asked questions about sponsoring a dog

Call to action (CTA) is a marketing term for any device designed to prompt an immediate response or encourage an immediate sale.

Your sponsorship contributions are used to help your sponsor dog and all the dogs in our care.

The money is used to cover the costs of running SSAF, costs such as heating, cooling, cleaning, feeding, medicine, supplies, and all of the love and care these dogs deserve.

If your sponsor dog is adopted or passes away we will always write to you and inform you, we then transfer your sponsorship to another dog in need. 

Yes. Once you sign up,  please fill out the gift form. 

The gift recipient will then receive all of the sponsorship details in their name.

Street Star Animal Foundation Sponsor a Dog is a co-sponsorship scheme with a number of people sponsoring each dog.

Your money will go towards helping all the dogs in our care, including the dog you have chosen to sponsor.
