How do we use your personal information?

SSAF uses your information to have a detailed record of all donations we receive, to email our subscribers with relevant updates about SSAF and study content usage trends to fine tune our content strategy to help dog owners and rescuers.

SSAF uses the collected information to analyse trends, administer our websites, track user behaviour and to gather demographic information about our website visitors. We will receive reports based on this information to deliver relevant content and updates about SSAF Sanctuary and Hospital and its supporting services for rescued stray dogs and abandoned pet dogs. We also will use this information to learn customer and donor preferences regarding products, donations and other SSAF-allied activities.

Your IP address, keystroke activity and personal information, if collected by cookies, are never stored or shared with any third-parties. We use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, AdRoll and Facebook cookies. Some or all of these tools may be used to track information about your behaviour. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level.

Mailing policy

Information about SSAF’s donors is collected for the purpose of processing your donation, receipt of your donation and to share updates on our work and programs through email, postal mail, telephone, advertising and other means.  If you would like to be excluded from updates, you can click on the unsubscribe link in the digital communication and/or write to us at contact@streetstar.org with your request to be unsubscribed from our mailing list. We usually revert to such requests in 3-4 working days. Do share reason for the request as that will help us fine tune our mailing practices to better suit the needs of our donors and supporters.

Communicating with SSAF

For any enquiries, please contact us at contact@streetstar.org. SSAF does not provide emergency dog rescue and medical services. We don’t have a helpline number.

Legal Obligations

SSAF does not share, sell, or rent your contact details such as email addresses, phone numbers, full names, etc. to anyone else.

SSAF will disclose your information where required to do so by law, if subject to subpoena or other legal proceeding or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement agencies.

Third-Party Payment Policy

SSAF uses third-party application Razorpay for Indian payments in INR. All card information shared by you with the payment gateway services providers is maintained on their secure servers and we don’t have access for the same. .

Policy Change Protocol

SSAF may alter our privacy protocol in accordance with growing developments in technology related to data collection, mining and so on. We assure you that we will notify you of these changes in the interest of transparency.
